Choosing the Correct Windshield?

Anyone have any advice on choosing the right height of a windshield. I am goign crazy trying to figure it out. I have an 06 VTX 1300C and have already bought one windshield that didnt work right.
What is the correct height? Below your line of vision by 5 inches? Above? Or is it Just preference? I have been to a few dealerships to see if anyone has one on a bike like mine but havent found one yet which is really bizarre. Any advice would be helpful. I even made cut outs with the different sizes trying to see which one works but I am not sure where they mount.

This is the windshield I have been considering.

Im use to alot of fairing but at high speeds stock works fine for me(5'11'', 32" waist at 215lbs.) If I were taller a two inch bubble would be nicer to cut the wind and it would effect vision then.

My line of sight is just over the windshield but very visible through it.

Thanks for the help.
We've got an actual test shield that shows the different sizes for cruisers.
Come by and we'll fit it up with you on the bike and you can see what will work best.
