That's going to be only possible in the Winter...!!!! We are in the Gulf Coast...!!! I do not mind if is above 100 F outside. I ride with a leather jacket all Summer and is not a big deal. You will get used to it.

back in the days when i lived in CC. we would hang out at the sonic on Staples by the Mall. The parking lot of the old theater next door and also Park Dale where Wallbangers is. The popo's got on us so it disbanded and some of the import cars meet at the T-heads down town. I know there "was" a bike forum in CC. Street.scene.net i think. I wasn't on it much back then. I'm down for some sonic. there are lots of them around town. Just pick one in a safe area and i'm game!

i guess no one here has been around long enough to remember the old sonic meets on westhiemer, JCI on saturdays, pearland sonic meets on weds/sun, baytown sonic meets on sat/sun, etc etc etc. there have been several meets set up at several area restaurants, eventually they all get broken up because the business owners get fed up with all the problems it causes. loud noise, illegal activity, loitery, and driving away their business. they all think it will bring them in more money, but in the long run they actually lose. i won't even start on all the liabilies they face when allowing a meet to take place on their property.

it will bring more money if its handled right. those managers got in over their heads. we have successful meets every week that go off without a hitch.

it's not the managers that do it. it's all the jackasses coming to the meets that don't buy , only come to pose, and act-a-fool on the streets coming in/out. the managers can't control that effectively without making everyone leave, or getting the cops to do it. with all the squids out there going to meets every week its only a matter of time before it happens to your meet as well. trust me, i've been doing this for a LOOOOOOONG time, and they all turn out the same, some just take longer than others.

tru dat. some do get out of hand while others thrive. dont even know if im gonna do a weekly thing, monthly, every once in a while...its all still up in the air. its still gonna b several months before i can do anything so i gots time to sort out the details. plus we got a few of pearlands finest to help out if the sqyids start to act a fool.
