Slip ons dont change too much; midpipes provide baffling and restriction and so does the stock manifold. I wouldn't think there would be much to gain but its a matter of what you plan on doing to it in the future as well.

A full system breaths alot different then stock and definitely recommend it then for protecting the engine.

You should at least adjust your flux capacitor to allow for more air!

Yes you can get headers later. Arrow makes quality headers. In response to racerx the other reason to get a full system besides the 8 or more hp gain, would be the considerable weight loss. Aftermarket systems weigh less, and eliminate the cat, which is relatively heavy. But to a certain point he is correct, the bike is probably more than you will ever use as is.

Maybe he wants the slipon for the change in sound or pimpin' points.... lord knows my ugly azz stock exhaust needs to replaced by something eventually.

Regarding the change for HP improvement, I'm in agreement with what's been said thus far. A track day will bring much more improvement than a 5% horsepower gain.

Well i can say i have an BMC air filter power commander and went down 1 in front and 2 up in the back made a world of difference in drivability throttle response and actually got better gas mileage by leaning out the lower power band that usually runs rich. Will be getting a TRE soon.I will spend less than that pipe cost and get more performance out of my bike than that pipe will give you. Bought power commander already mapped and used.

Yes, but if he is going to buy the slipon now, then he would need to frankenstien the rest later. For my system, I was going to do Arrow headers and a Termi Y pipe, but most of it was on backorder so I just went with the full KR system.
