How much are you looking to spend? What kind of trike are you interested in? I've seen some nice 3-wheeled GoldWings.

I have driven a sidecar rig and I have ridden in the car.

As a driver, it was an odd sensation not to lean when turning. There was a feeling of tippiness in right hand turns and in both directions it felt like I was fighting it through the turn. The front had a tendancy to push and not change directions.
As a passenger, the feeling was like driving a 60mph go-cart.... with NO steering wheel. Kinda terrifying and complete trust is required. I was doing OK until the driver dropped the sidecar wheel off the edge of the pavement and the trust was gone.

Three wheelers on the other hand feel tippy in BOTH directions and also push thru turns in either direction.

Either option has merit for a someone that is unable to ride a motorcycle, in that they can enjoy the experience, but with some compromises.

Hope that helps. PM if you gots more questions.
