Houston Raceway Park requirements???

I need some info about the rules for running my bike at the drag strip. Do I need full one piece leathers or is leather jacket and pants ok? Also, any other requirements as far as bike equiptment, kill swithes..that sort of thing. Thanks!

Leather jacket boots gloves and helmet if you run under i think 140 or 150 mph, above that full leathers

just go the HRP web site and look at the rules! I think the helmet spec is snell 95 mininum.

All motorcycle riders are required to wear a full face helmet meeting above Specs, leather jacket, leather boots/shoes above the ankle, and leather gloves. Full all leathers or SFI Spec 40.1/2 suit is mandatory on all motorcycles running 120 mph or faster.

for your bike, you will trap higher then 135 so you will need full leathers, dead man switch *their are cheap DIY's for this like 3 bucks and you set* and over the ankle boots and of course gloves and a helmet.
We as riders know the risks we take everytime we put that kickstand up and twist the throttle.

Or hit up Lonestar on the 12th for some less typical drag strip fun and a bit less strict requirements. Regardless wear not just the minimium that they require, but instead the most that you can.

If you go over 120 or 125 you need full leathers. I myself have been told I cant run again without leathers. I had to borrow a pair, so I am pretty sure I know these things. You have to have boots that cover the ankle and a kill switch leash and a chain guard.
