2 Sides to Every Story? : The Road Rage Incident last week...

http://www.myfoxhouston.com/myfox/pa...Y&pageId=1.1.1

Aparrantly, the motorcyclist was a PGR Member. He was out for ride with his son, who was going back to Iraq.

Taken from the PGR Alert:

"PGR Member David Robert Gosch was riding with his son prior to his son returning to Iraq for his 4th Tour on Monday June 7th when a Irate motorist swerved toward him fatally taking him down. Motorist spun out and was arrested. Funeral is going to be Wednesday July 9th @ 1400 Hrs at the Scott Funeral Home 1421 E. Hwy. 6, Alvin, TX. Interment will be at the Confederate Cemetery."

To be fair, there is obviously no mention in the PGR Bulletin of the events prior to the motorist side-swiping Gosch, but either way, it was not a good idea to get into a confrontation with a cager in the first place. With that said, why would the Miata have "spun out" and the motorist arrested, had it not been a deliberate act of manslaughter? Could it have been likely that Gosch was only "kicking" as a reflex response to the Miata sideswiping him? Who knows. It'll come down to witnesses at this Cager's Trial. Hopefully, the truth will come out.

wow! talk about reading 2 different reports. doesn't evryone know it's always the motorcyclist's fault??? or atleast that seems to be the consensus (sp?)of the general public - "well if you all wouldn't ride so fast or cause trouble on the roads we wouln't be talking about this kind of issue right now would we?" is a statement some @$$ hat recently made to me...it took all i had to not bust someone in the mouth for that one!

Arkansas linebacker faces felony charge

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas linebacker Wendel Davis faces a felony criminal mischief charge after police say he punched through the window of a car that bumped his scooter.

Davis, a 19-year-old from Sweeny, Texas, is scheduled to appear before a judge July 30 over the charge, stemming from an altercation Tuesday. If convicted, Davis could face up to 10 years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

A university police spokesman says Davis' fist put dents into the car and broke its windshield. Davis was released without bond pending his court hearing.

Arkansas coach Bobby Petrino said in a statement that he was aware of the incident and would act once he had all the facts.

The arrest was the third this spring involving a member of the Arkansas defense.

Of course bikers are going to say it was the cagers fault. Duh! Any idiot chasing a car down on a bike is just that. The Miata driver could have been in fear of his life. But as to swerving into the bike, that is a bikers POV. He could have swerved to avoid getting kicked, spun out and hit the biker as a result. Get a police report of it and stop posting BS from someone that wasn't even there.

Not too sure what it is you're so upset about (in regard to my post), nor whether you are addressing me specificly. I simply offered what info I received from another's POV, in response to the media's POV (who also were not there), to suggest that there are 2 sides to every story. I did in fact disclaim that this is indeed from the PGR's POV, so it may well be biased. What you offered as another possibility in what may have occurred may also be a viable explanation. But that was my point to begin with... that until the truth comes out, we should not speculate.

In other words, I believe we're both making the same point.
