Angry BS Ticket ~ anyone else???

Figured I would get a ticket this weekend but this was TOTAL

5 bikes, staggered formation, fast lane, going w/ flow of traffic

we werent cutting throught traffic and both wheels were on the road. Thought we were being good.. Last dude gets lit up, he pulls over. we all exit at the next possible and wait at a gas station. like 8 minutes later a cop rolls in screaching tires....then 3 more cars surround us. They proceed to give us all this ticket

85 in a 60
no turn signal
following too close

Several of us argued that we never changed lanes w/out a signal and one dude walks over and says...GET THIS, this is what really me off
"I saw a lot of changing lanes and blinkers. I'm not really sure who did and didnt so you all get the same ticket"
WTF...
next we ask about following too closely. He says lol... 'this is so retarded'
you need to be 1 car length for every 10 mph away from the car in front of you. he says, you were going 80 so you should have been 8 car lengths behind the car in front of you. whatever happened to 2 seconds behind?? Im not even gonna get into how many things were wrong with his statement there.
Long story short it was an unmarked car w/ cops that called all the other dudes and had every exit covered in case we ran. Said its a new task force so watch for the "unmarked beast"

Anybody else get one this fine holiday weekend???

1) BossLady ~ 85/60, no signal, follow 2 close
2) Mr Richards ~ 85/60, no signal, follow 2 close
3) Lindsay Gsxr ~ 85/60, no signal, follow 2 close

that is bs. I swear on old river road in NBraunfels there were just as many cop cars driving around as there were pedestrians. I was almost too scared to pass on the double yellow. Almost I said.

I'm surprised more groups of riders don't get a ticket for following too closely.

darn law breaker biker gangs...

Rule of thumb from drivers ed a "long" time ago was one car length for every 10 mph. The one or two second rule came about from the group ride recomendations.

I've never actually seen it written down as a "law"

you thought that was bs, I got arrested when I wasn't running from the popo. They didn't even see me speed but other people I was going with got clocked at 150 but they didn't know a cop was going for them. All I saw was blue lights so we pulled over in the next town to eat. Figure someone was going to jail in the crew so planned to stay the night at a motel. Didn't plan to spend the night in jail. He said you are part of the crew so you're going to jail too. Now that's some bs right there. Fight that ticket cause he can't prove who did it and we have the 2 sec rule so screw that. hope you win if you fight it
