Exclamation Spot Cards Idea - yes it's stolen

Hey Chris, saw this on another website... Thought maybe something can be done like this but only MotoHouston-ish!!!

Spot Cards

Spot cards are for letting other 350Z owners know about MY350Z.COM.

When you spot a 350Z in a parking lot or anywhere you can just put one of these cards in their window sill.

They are lined up to print on Avery 5371, 8371 and 8871 business cards.

They come in all the Z colors and plain text.

Great idea. IMO. Sure it wouldn't be difficult to make these for motohouston. Then just goto walmart and pickup the labels and run em through your printer. I'd hand these suckers out everywhere to other bikers.

Somebody make the template, I am lazy and suck at designing stuff. Someone make the card and upload it and I will gladly stick these on bikes and hand them out.

Check this out. Prolly could change this up and make it work. Just need to make a MH logo for it and change up the wording.

Good for a basic layout. Ours would have to say something cool though to make people come check it out. Since we don't have any kind of referral thing set up we wouldn't need our username.

Agreed. I just was able to find that one for a layout since the ones on the site in the original post were not working.

You could add a place in the registration for "referred by:" and possibly have it PM us saying "So and so joined and was referred by you!" or something along those lines?

That would be cool. Doesn't seem like it would be to difficult to implement. Even if you didn't want to do that they could just say so and so left me a card when they make their introduction thread....(if they make an intro thread......and dont make their first post in the for sale section. )

powerpoint I believe has a setup so you can make something like this. Then it prints out on standard card stock.

If someone comes up with the cards then you can just sticky, and anyone can download, add their user name and print it out.

Send a message via AIM to blends
We did this with the VW/Audi club I used to post in... dunno if it ever worked or not

I like the idea about having a spot on the back or something where you can write in your username and the PM being sent to you if you get someone to put your name in as a referral... SILVERFUDGE!!
