If I would not have wasted 500 on a helmet, 150+ on gloves, 400+ on boots and 350+ on a jacket just for my summer gear I could have bought a bunch of gear like maxmillian1

its cool to list your gear and ask about others, but when you start listing prices you paid................

If you want to use the zumo 550 then you could pair it with the autocom super pro avi, you will also need the bluetooth dongle, and I recommend autocom part 1188 with some Etymotic or Westone earphones.

ridesafer.com has a section with refective material on the left, some stick, sew and iron on. You can add it to any gear you want.

I like the airhorn they have.

Not the best looking stuff but at close out prices I would rather have these two items than 6 extra jackets

i had a horrible experience with ridegear and will never order from them again. if u look at their track record they are notorious for not shipping stuff and not wanting to return your money....just my experience

I did not just buy anything and every thing that I saw. The reason that I posted the prices is so that Maybe so one would give me good feedback about the prices I paid being to much, to little, or just a waist of money. everyone here has Gear and an opinion about gear. I just started looking at this pile of stuff and wondered if it was to much...

ask yourself this question.... how much is your life worth? like in everything else, you get what you paid for..i agreed with Dean, you can never have too much gear. there's all kinds of brands and sizes out there but only one will fit you. just make sure they fit properly. after all that's the only thing that's gonna save our ...

don't know how much is too much, but i know i'd like to get some under-pants leg protectors, and some kevlar reinforced jeans. i currently have:

2 helmets
3 jackets, all w/ CE armor (leather, textile, mesh, depends on where/how long i'm riding)
1 gloves (will need to get some winter gloves when it gets cold)
1 boots
