Once you start moving a good seat/jacket etc actually breaths very well. they aren't waterproof, the perferations allow alot of flow in and out.

I have almost had my foot torn off and broke an ankle from stumps and sticks riding dirt bikes without boots as a kid. I switched to riding with boots all the time then. Now if I ride in tennis shoes i feel venerable.

If I an not wearing track boots it's at least high top dock martins or my steel toe work boots. Something that will protect your/foot ankle somewhat.

Reflective vests, reflective tape, anything on night time riding.

Thanks!

well.... there are a few different routes to go. the cheapest is the good old fashioned construction vest.

second would be the icon milspec vest

and lastly you could order some reflective material and add it to your existing jacket.

personally I add reflective tape to the back of my helmets to help me stand out.

IMO, get a bright colored helmet, thats the part that drivers see.

i also recommend jackets w/ reflective piping if not panels. all black = invisible at night.
