I dont know him pesonally but I met him 3 times and seems like a real cool & down to earth kind of guy. I'm real sorry 2 hear about the sad news & I remeber riding with him and a couple of other folks 2 weeks ago. May bless his soul R.I.P. you'll truely be missed

well so far as i know viewing will be monday,and funeral will be tuesday. as for times im not sure but i will post as soon as i know the times. thanks to all who knew BURNS and sent prayers. it means a lot to us. i still can't believe it. i miss my friend dearly.

Thanks to the each of you for the great comments about Stephen. I'm his cousin, and the family really appreciates your thoughts and well wishes.

The Viewing will be held at Carter Funeral Home which is located at 13701 Corpus Christi St., Houston Tx, 77015 between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 PM. on Monday July 06. The Funeral will be held at the First Baptist Church at 610 and 10 in the chapel at 1:00 on Tuesday. The burial will be at Brookside Cemetary at 59 and Lauder Rd. I have attached links to both the funeral home and the cemetary below along with a link to his obit in the Houston Chronicle.

I'm Steve's friend. It's good to see that he has so many people who care about him. His passing comes as quite a surprise and I'm puzzled by the conflicting stories and the general lack of details available from HPD. Anyway, RIP, Steve.

REST IN PEACE This george man showing much love to you up in heaven, and to your family down here. I'll always miss you, we meet in pre k, and then i lost a brother over the weekend. We all should celebrate the memory of burns. Nice person, friend, etc.. wouldnt hurt a fly. Well rest in peace dear friend, till we meet again.

I rode out with Burns and was with him the night he died. I can't help but think that if I hadn't left 30 minutes early...if I had waited and left with him...maybe things would have turned out different. I don't know. Still hasn't really sunk in yet.
