Looks like aluminum marchesini wheels though instead of mag. with the "T" shaped spokes vs. the mag "H" shape...

Guess it's race bike chit and all different anyways.

i think you and i are the only people on the planet that feel that way. i also like that the carrozzerias use a standard kawasaki sprocket pattern, not the special marchesini pattern. i just don't like their inability to include a proper spacer with the wheels. every set i've heard of has had to have new spacers machined. but man, once they're on, they're bad . i miss mine.

I dunno, I have had customers with Carrozzarias that were machined wrong. Inner wheel (center) machined too big and the tire would not mount properly. I liked my Marchesinis.

...he was not expected to finish anywhere near the top, given the fact he was on a new bike, and on a track he never rode. Given all that, his times were still good, and rizla was very impressed with his performance. We will know better at Laguna, where he knows the track and hopefully knows the bike more too.
He's been turning laps like a madman at indy, all just to get to know how the bike works and he is getting faster and faster. I can't wait until the 20th.

A cracking piccy I found of Spies at Donnington Park in the British MotoGP.

look at that lean angle and that would be through Goddards, bumpy, slightly downhill and off camber

Shame it's not a better quality photograph

I have only seen it twice, I don't think it is a wide spread problem. They do seem pretty light though

It will be very interesting to see him at laguna, I know I will be there. But would be nice to see what the kid could do on a better bike.
