12th and 13th of October. They chage $75 for a year's membership and then 190 or so per trackday. Obviously if we are going that far. We are doing two.

Here is the site with info.

Nesba is a great organization. We rode wiith them at Barber last year. Due to dates and races around that time, we're doing SBTT trackday this year.

And correction, you do not have to sign as a novice first with SBTT. It's Nesba that won't allow you to register for Advanced right away without proving yourself first ( at least thats how it was last year).

That may be true, when I went, I sent them a copy of my racing license when I signed up. Never had an issue.

Yep. Thats what I was getting at with what I said. Either have to send them a copy of a license, or sign up as a INT and get with the group captain to evaluate you for the Advanced group. Either way, they're a great group of guys and will work with ya.

Did they bump you up last time Derek? I'm curious what the disparity of speed was between groups. I was in the same group all day, so I didn't really pay much attention to the other groups.

Tom, they tried to bump me to advanced, but I asked to be allowed to stay in INT because my friends that I went with were in INT. So they were OK with it as long as I didn't go stuffin' people in the corners.

Again, SBTT is different and from what I understand they don't have a rule that keeps first timers to their organization from riding in ADV. I signed up for ADV. We'll see when we get there. I'm with Jody, I'll be real upset if they try and stick me in INT.

You will love it dude. The track is absolutely AMAZING. It is like riding in the hill country on awesome pavement with good run offs. Nothing in TEXAS even comes close. Why can't the Borden milk dude here build a track.

When we went last year it was 10.5hrs there with only stopping for gas and grabbing snacks at those times. And 11hrs back cause we stopped and ate inside a restaurant. Rolling 70-80mph the whole way depending on traffic.
