03 tail to 04 tail swap? Can it be done?

Can I put an 04-05 tail on a 01-03 GSXR 600? I like the look of the newer tail. Curious. If I missed the link, can you point me in the right direction?

Neg... Its the undertail. I want to replace the rear plastic, seat, light and then the under tail.

the look of the 01-03 is more of a "bulky", "musclular" look IMO as opposed to the 04-05 more slender, streamlined look. you think it would "flow" well with the rest of the plastics? if you do this, id like to see what it looks like.

I dont have any parts yet, so I'm not to sure if Im going to need to cut/shave any sub-frame or plastic...
