Scorpion Helmets

Just got in our first batch today, must say I'm impressed with the overall quality, fit and finish, especially for the price!
I'd like some feed back though from those of you who have had them for awhile, in particular if you've also had HJC or KBC.

Thanks,

Patrick

I would've bought a Scorpion, but my hookup never came through. When I finally found a shop that had them, I tried the exo400 on. It felt more comfortable than my HJC CL-14. The padding inside also felt like it would protect more (more cusion all around). The HJC shell (Medium) seemed huge compared to the Scorpion (XL). I also dig the anti-fog on the Scorpion. I think the two helmets were around the same price, maybe a 20 buck difference. I actually found a place (near Humble) a year ago that carried Scorpions before anyone else had them in town. I guess they were so unkown that the shop was selling them for 80 bucks. Too bad they didn't have my size nor preferred color.

I've worn KBC's for about four yrs now. very impressed with them. I have the racer1 and I really like it. The ventilation is very good as well. My next one will be the Soumy

Using a Scorpion Ex400 at the moment.... simply because I wanted to ride the new bike to the last races at TWS (Texas World Speedway) and was not ready to dump the cash on a new Suomy. It is great for the price but I wish it had a visor latch. That would probably make it a helmet I would use at the track. The type of liner they use is nice and comfy though.

Like it alot better then my HJC I had years ago. That was a CL-14 model though. I hear the AC models are better but never wore one of those.

ive had a KBC Wolf helmet and now a HJC AC-11. the KBC fit alot better and more like a helmet. the HJC moves around too much when i go above 120 mph.

i heard the scorpion fit alot like HJC but i hope thats not the case

i love my Scorpion 400, great fit, lots lighter than my AGV and fits waaaaaaaay better than my old HJC, dont know what model it was... the chin skirt thingy is a must though... the helmet seems to be a higher cut on the bottom than the AGV which leaves more room for movement,

I am def. looking to buy another for the right price..

I've had two CL-14 HJC helmets...they're ok. They could need some more noise reduction and less wind lift

I have had my Scorpion for a while now, I was totally sold on the helmet first time i rode with it, I did get a draft around the chin area, and got the Chin wind guard separate, and took care of that problem immediately.

I also have worn HJC, and Shoei.

Now for the money Shoei was waaay overpriced, and noisy, fairly comfortable, and of course the looks were sweet !

HJC to me is just terrible, all around terrible.

Scorpion I absolutely love, fits awesome, gives ya those chipmunk cheeks
noise levels are significatly lower, no wind noise, and no lift, just the draft prob which was fixed right away, oh and also love how easy it is to take the lens off. One thing i noticed too is the anti-fog clear view lens is incredible at night especially this time of year.

Oh and of the 4 guys who live on my street and ride 3 of us wear them and 4th is looking for one

We're carrying a variety of models from the EXO-700 to the EXO-400
MotoHouston prices range from $179.95 to $116.95.
If I don't have the model in stock I can get it in 3 - 4 days.
The chin skirt is $7.95 and I just ordered a few to put in stock, should have them next week.
