I did learn from my little "off roading" experience, and thank and some basic moto skills that prevented me from falling down on that ugly a$$ turn!! I will admit I got scared itless!! lol Time to go to the track and practice alot more, thats for sure!!!

Anyways, thanks again and look forward to riding again!!

P.S. Hey joe, hope you are OK man!! I also wish the best to our other fallen comrades!! Bless!!

JK... Happy 4th all! Thanx to the troops, past and present, whom protect us annd give us these opportunities.

+1 to Cali for mentioning the troops. If it wasn't for them, wouldn't be celebrating today!

First off, props to Joe for putting together a great ride! IMO he did everything right (except the directions mishap)

I was behind the guy that went down in the intermediate group. IMO he should have been in the 3rd group and he wasn't the only one riding with us that I think should have been in the 3rd group.
Guys, leave your egos at home and ride to your ability. When you push beyond your ability to keep up with the guy in front of you, not only are you putting your life at risk but your now risking my life and the guy behind me and the guy behind him and so on. Follow the rules of the ride. Nuf said.

We've been home a minute, and all my southeast crew (who rolled with me) made it home okay.

We all enjoyed it. Thanks to the leaders and sweepers of every group. Very nice of ya'll to selflessly devote some time to better the riding environment.

Hat's off, guys!!! Can't wait to do it again.

Oh well, it looked like alot of fun nevertheless. Wish I had gone.

+1, if you're not busy this afternoon I may go ride with my brother and you're welcome to join. I was going to go this morning but that's just way too many folks for me.

We had 0 incidents on the way home, but got rained on for just a bit. Other than that I had an amazing time, and will be doing it again real soon.
Everything went well until I tried to go east on the wrong 105/90...lol, woops sorry about that!
Found 362 and got about 15 min. of sauna weather, then it got real cool for about 2 min. which was warning for rain.
Once it started raining it didn't stop until waller.
3 bikes went down 290 and 2 followed me to 529 where we were finally dry until the sky opened up on us!
I had a great day and am happy to say thanks everyone for showing!

Im proud of the third group; They picked their spots well, stuck to them and didn't pass eachother. Faster individuals were in the front w me and the others caught up w us in the straights etc. We stayed together almost the whole way through.

Talking w the intermediate group, sounds like there's an average 15-20mph difference between the groups through corners so that's not such a dramatic number. Regardless, some of the leaders/sweepers itch to tear off down the road but we enjoy sharing these roads w fellow MHers and the fellowship and experience is worth so much more then a little more wind fighting your windscreen.

Good job guys as always; you make it safe and fun
