Sounds like there were a couple incedents.. according to my source they had same people riding with the wrong groups and got over their heads...

But in the leaders defence, when someone tells you they are intermediate, you take their word for it...

dumbasses...

I'm going to guess here, someone tried to agressively pass and flew into a ditch? or did someone not slowdown for the barb wire fence turn (lots o gravel)

Not 100% sure yet.. looks like two incidents in the intermediate group and one with the begineers...

They said the roads were in good shape overall.....

Still waiting for someone to report firsthand.

Only thing I have to report (as I wasn't on the ride) is that it is pouring here in the G-town area.

Suspenseful isn't it!

Very large crowd today. Split into three groups with three leaders and three sweepers. Very level headed guy leading the cruiser group; one rider down with a bit of bike damage but rider ok and continued on. Another in the cruiser group down too, but very little damage - no rider issues.

Medium group led by another very level headed guy. I heard two folks down in that group, potentially one requiring medical assistance.

I rode in the fast group. A mix of leaders, no incidents despite dodging vultures, a dog, tree limbs in the corners, etc. Nobody riding over their head in the fast group.

We encountered another rider on the way home who was down when we arrived. He was not part of our large ride. Down pretty hard on a suzuki. Talking and coherent, but waiting for medical assistance. Bike will need a lot of work, not ridable.

All in all a good ride. Very large number of bikes --- more than 75.

If the book is Medical Terminology and there was a midterm on it on Monday then it isn't so great. Just trust me on that one

Especially since I am on here instead of studying

I had a good time. Pre ride discussion was good. Agreed to split into 3 groups. Experienced, Intermediate and Beginner.

My numbers are just speculation....but over 70 bikes.

1 down in the forest
3 down on 3090

That was just on the way there. My group left before the rest so I pray that there aren't anymore incidents coming down. Furthermore, I caught some rain coming home, making matters even more dangerous.

I seems to me, that no matter how SLOW the goup goes, peeps still go down regularly. These are basic turns people, with posted speed limits. Please do a TRACK DAY. No to be faster, but more in control.

Before the blingin pipes, rear seat cowls, fender eliminators, integrated tails lights, flush mounts and all that posin bullshit....PLEASE DO A TRACK DAY. It will save your someday.

That is all.

How did y'all get in the Forest "on the way there" ?????

And even a seasoned expert needs to treat 3090 with respect. There are enough weird turns on that road to catch you out if you don't.

I heard someone counted 75 bikes.. holy shiyat!!!!!

All you can do is ask people to admit their abilities and get in the right group.. but the beginner group needs to stay at posted or below speeds...

And, of course, one of the guys in the cruiser group who went down wasn't wearing a jacket. What's it take for people to learn? He went down predominately on grass so he wasn't all rashed up.
