some old vids of thiefs slicing through all different brands of locks and cables. bottom line is if a thief wants a bike he'll get it. theft devices just slow them down and make them look for easier targets.

I've always liked the 650r's, congrats on the new purchase!

Take it slow out there at first and always be on the defensive. Look forward to seeing you on the streets

Bike(s):
2001 SV 650 (my track ), 2005 SV 650s

the Ninja 650 is an awesome bike ... if Patrick had one when I was looking I'd be all over it ... I got the SV650 from him instead and haven't looked back. There's more aftermarket stuff for the SV but the 650R has only been around for a couple years.

Have fun and ride safe!
