Question **FAIRING/FRAMESLIDER QUESTION**600rr

My bike didnt come with the holes ready for framesliders, they had to be cut. I have them now. But my question is, can they only be installed in one place?

I wanna replace this fairing cuz mine has road rash and this is a good price. But if i get it, is it possible the hole on this one that is already cut, would be diff from where the hole and frameslider that i already have is? or does the sliders only go in one specific spot anyway? I have an 05- 600rr?!?

i think it depends on the frame sliders you have. there r some that are no cut, but since he has the hole cut already might want to ask what type of frame sliders he had.

I am pretty sure the frame sliders can only br placed in one spot! They attach to the engine mount! So if it is the same year fairing the hole will be in the same spot!

So it will be in the same spot, just might be a smaller or bigger whole depending on what kind of slider i have?

And thanks everyone!!

yea, and sorry for the confusion, i had a hard time figuring out how to word it and make sense lol

Yes, if you think of it, it has happened. Not sure what year bike Jleo has, but she may have the option for no cuts. Not sure, I would have to do some research. I have no cuts on my R1 and they worked fine in action. In fact the no cut braked saved my bike extra in my case.
