I'm really sorry to hear about that. Were you with him, was it a loss of control with speed, or a driver that did something stupid? I really hope he's ok, and the whole leg bit is just rough. Keep us posted. Our thoughts are with him !

Y'alls good thoughts must have helped. I've heard he made it through the night. Out of respect for him, that is all the info I can give out, but he had a rough night. Thanks to Hypertrophyy and all that replied.

man, I hear stories like this all the time, and it always sad. What is different this time, is that it hit close to home. For this very reason, I do not have many biker friends. I never want to hear about a friend going down. I know Justin Guy and his family. I hope and pray he pulls through. Injuries he has sustained are bad. Hope he keeps his leg. The man is too young. I am thankful for the quick actions that were taken, obviously resulting in him being alive today.

Last time I talked to Justin he was eager to make his street bike into a track only bike. Closed course. I hear he was real close to doing it. And then this happens.

I will tell you myself I just cruise on the bike, much like he was doing coming from the gym. But even being 'safe' just cruising along isn't enough to compensate actions of other drivers. Reality, its the risk we all take, whether you think about it or not, to ride and enjoy life. With so many odds against us out there, sorry to put it like this but its just a matter of time. I have been down 4 times myself. Be it my fault or not.

I have not seen links posted in this thread yet. Please be sure to read the comments. More information there too that will be updated.
