No history on me, depends on who's bored!

I was driving to corpus and had a state trooper do a U turn on a road and come after me. I couldn't figure out what I did wrong and he talked about my license plate and then tried to get me to say that the laptop I was looking at (gps, wife driving) had TV and she had view of it, since that was also a violation.

Those are the RARE few officers I don't like. At least he didn't give me a ticket or anything, I just don't like it when my time is wasted like that.

Bayou Vista PD bought a Charger? That's some serious overkill right there. How many high speed chases does Bayou Vista get? Like...none!

I always wondered if the section of I-45 that runs in front of Bayou Vista was part of their patrol. I never see them ON 45, but I see them enforcing the 20mph speed limit IN Bayou Vista.

i witnessed them in a highspeed chase that came from houston. they also help with tiki and the county for accidents and causeway shut downs. they also help hitchcock with the freddyville subdivision.

New Dodge Police Charger Video by Officer McCoy

But it wasn't any old police car. All black charger, with flat black/reflective words that said POLICE on the side. I mean you have to be at the exact right angle to even see the words on the car. As soon as he passed me I couldn't even see the words on the side anymore.

Coolest cop car I've seen in a while. Which PD's have those cars? Was he some sort of undercover? Maybe DPS?

On the front plate issue I didn't have one on my Z71 and never got pulled over, on the other hand I got pulled over for it almost weakly in my Trans am without one. They use it as an excuse to pull you over to look for something else when you are in a sports car but pretty much ignore you in a truck

That Edmunds video was funny. I saw 3 of these suckers on 288 between the beltway and 59. They must have been having a crackdown.

I've been stopped a few times on my drive to Austin and back on 71 by Staties, just for no front license plate. , one time a big white Tahoe was going fast than me (me 71 in a 60 in the right lane, Tahoe at least 75+ in the left lane passing me) and the Trooper pulled ME over b/c I didn't have a front plate on this Mustang. I mentioned the Tahoe and he said "well, you don't have a front plate, so I pulled YOU over..."

Don't know what you mean by "DWB", though.
that's an easy one...look at the cars you had lol!!! they (cops) think high performance and thats one strike against you. you are a threat to them. someone rolling in a jeep is "boring" to them(not knocking on the jeep) to them. the only exception to this rule are vettes and other high end cars.
