You know you're a newb when you leave the choke on full and wonder if your throttle cable is broken because your bike won't stop near redlining!

Here's your sign.

You know you're a sportbike rider when you look at google maps, look for the squiggliest line on the map, and read forum reviews looking for roads that take the longest route to get where you want to go which is just a location you pick to enjoy getting there!

Here's your sign.

BTW since people will post all sorts of posts, please to make it clear put:

YOU KNOW YOU'RE A ?????, when:
followed by : "Here's your sign. "

Will keep things easier to read and understand, since not all us will be posting newb comments, i'd like some track junkie comments, cruiser comments, etc..

thanks.

You know you're a sportbike rider when instead of calculating your average fuel economy per month you calcuate the time savings you've had getting to work on your bike with a lap timer...

here's your sign.

and now..

lets see if I can think of another one

Walked into cycle gear today with a broken helmet near shattered in half,

The guy behind the counter said "hey you crash your bike?"

Nope, I just entered the motorcycle demolition derby and figured won first place!

So I'm sitting in 98 degree traffic, waiting for an accident to clear. I throw up the visor and wave my jacket in and out a bit to get some air flowing down that hot leather. A cruiser guy pulls up next to , looks me up and down, and says "Ya hot in there?"

I look back and tell him, "No i've got an electric powered cooling jacket and am sitting at 72 degrees. "

Here's your sign?

Wow, thats the best that I could do, and that was lame. I think i'll stick with motivational posters, and You know you ares.....

When you turn the key and hit the button and nothing happens... so you check the fuses, battery, go online for help.. then remember the kill switch is off....

You might be a newb....
