The registration HAS to go on the plate in the required field. If you mean the inspection. Just under the plate. Basically don't take off the DOT/OEM fender and plate bracket. BUT if you want to put on an eliminator, as close to the rear of the bike as possible with a white light illuminating the plate.

Try being more specific in your thread titles, I've seen like 4 or 5 where you said "help" w/o saying what you needed help with, it may help you generate more responses

just expect to be stopped now and then when you move the plate/sticker...

Not worth the hassle IMO

I have mine undertail just over the rear hugger. Because I have undrertail exhaust this was as close to the rear as I wanted to get. There are many threads covering this issue, and what has been the general consensus is: If you move the plate it is officer descretion as to whether or not to write you a ticket.
