When a peace officer saves your life, hopefully you will change your tune.
yup, I dont understand all the cop bashing here, really weird, and probably the ones bashing are the ones riding "dirty" and get mad when they get caught.

You didn't hurt my feelings. I was just making an observation of how many jump on the officer bashing bandwagon. Officers are here for our safety. Logically think through how life would be without peace officers and people would change their tune.

Nice for you to resort to name calling though. Very mature.

LOL. Once again with the name calling. Some people will never learn.

We all know e-peens are a moot point, so I will bow out of this comparison.

BTW, I would keep the diamond.

That's how Officer Chris Dye from the Lake Mary Police Department described his new Honda ST1300 to a local news station
Taken from the Orlando Sentinel -

Three cops disciplined for hiding details in excessive force case

Quote:
7:53 p.m. EST, March 5, 2012 SANFORD A Seminole County Sheriff's Office sergeant has been demoted for ordering a deputy to rewrite a report and hide details about a Lake Mary cop she saw rough up a bar owner Halloween night, records show. Sgt. Kristen Bates is one of three officers to be disciplined for what happened at a Lake Mary bar. Christopher Dye, the Lake Mary officer accused of roughing up the bar owner, has been fired and is awaiting trial on evidence tampering charges.

Hi -

No beef whatsoever. I've never even heard of the guy or the incident until this evening.

Here's the chain of events...

Earlier today, a friend of mine posted on Facebook that he saw several FHP marked sportbikes on Route 95.

I mentioned this to a coworker who told me he was pulled over in a nearby town by cop on an unmarked 'Busa and that he had heard of unmarked performance bikes being used by police (more than marked) in Florida.

I got home from work tonight, went searching for pictures of marked police sport bikes and came across motohouston.com and this thread.

I cut/pasted the quote about the Lake Mary Dept motorcycle change over into Google and up popped this 2012 article mentioning the same cop that was quoted back in 2008.

Just a rather normal internet search experience - no beef, no anti-cop agenda.
