Mad, My Venting Rant of Idiotic Houston Drivers

I'm pretty calm. First mad post since commuting in Dec everyday... so I handle it pretty darn well! Never in my life thrown the bird at someone while driving. Normally just expect stupidity and it won't make you mad when it happened. But I'm a bit right now. Grant and 249 north. Take left onto grant. Know the road? Its ONE turning lane only into that nightmarishly designed angle grant from 249. I'm just minding my own business my whole way home. Totally non hooligan, nothing to really stand out. I sit in my turning lane, and i start going 60% way through turn something catches my eye from my perp vision, and its a freakin Suburban using the other lane as a turning lane, despite the fact it isn't and my path was a slow curve into that lane.... she must be eager! The crazy thing is I was only feet away from the lady, in a FREAKIN ICON REFLECTIVE VEST doing nothing unusual and she doesn't even pay attention or see me?!?!?!? I throw my hand up like "What are you doing idiot?" No braking nothing, so i drop a gear and rev and move in front so i don't get cut off and wave again like what the? Since I have a ninja 250 though, i have to say in that case dropping a gear and twisting didn't help much, since I was commuting and near a light wasn't anywhere in the power curve so it was a bit unsettling to have her coming that close to me. If it happened again I so would have kicked her door as I was moving away... (at least the temptation would have been there)

Even if she didn't realize and wasn't reading the stupid signs, I can live with that. But to cut in and not even watch me with reflective vest coming over to the lane and then even when in front not drop way back or give me some space when i was waving "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" is just plain cager idiocy.

lol. Perfect.

I understand maybe on the freeway, or pulling out etc, i think they should pay more attention, but I know mistakes happen. That was not just a simple mistake, but a flat out bad driver in a freaking tank. Why oh why do we let ladies like that role around in SUV's!!?

I had a guy on 45 try to push me out of my lane last week. I was looking left to get over and I catch something out of my right eye. I look right and some a hole is half way in my lane already. I was still using it.He was looking right at me. I couldnt get over with the space I wanted. Well, he wanted the lane real bad and I knew I could move left. I did so and the was thinkin about phukin up his door, but traffic was too heavy.

It's not just Houston drivers...riding in Sugar Land is just as bad. Cagers just have no respect for motorcyclists.

Cagers have this "I don't care, I won't get hurt" mentality when it comes to bikes and I can't stand it. People are just so competitive always cutting each other off and trying to get ahead... I feel your pain.
