I have been up and down the CC ladder quite a bit. Don't really care about the size, different tools for different uses.

IMO bigger bikes make you a lazy rider, relying on power to cover mistakes like botched shifts, etc. but sometimes thats a good thing.

1K 140-160 RWHP, 750 130 or so? Probably down 15-20 on the tq though.

Bought a 6. We'll see what happens. Ima ride Sat at the forest and then be at TWS (Texas World Speedway) next month with it which I know is afast track. Ima newbie at the track anyhow

I did, I went from a 1000cbr to a R6.

I kept wrecking with 1k's so I decided to go back to the beginning and so far its been better in my opinion..

I rode it again yesterday. This time i got up on the pipe. It's plenty fast. I just wasnt riding it right the first time. I thnk gear selection is more important on a 6 than a 10.

Absolutely, you can't get lazy on a 6 and leave it in 5th or 6th all day. You gotta get on the pipe to get it moving.
