KTM LC4–based sportsbike presages 2009 RC4

Tired of waiting for KTM to unveil its 2009 RC4 single-cylinder sportsbike, Danish engineer Kim Kronslev has taken matters into his own hands. He has created a custom sportsbike around the LC4 engine, building the tubular steel frame and swingarm himself and using off-the-shelf components for the rest.

Kronslev plans to install a small bikini fairing over the winter. In the meantime, the raw, unfinished look lends the bike a purposeful air. Let’s hope KTM keeps things this pure when it drops its take on this concept next fall.
