considering two bikes....

both are from a friend of mine.
92 f2 for 2500 has 20k but is in MINT condition. no problems....
or a 05 zx6 with 3k. but has a sal title. for 5k. very light scratches on it. rode it today and it rides great. pretty fast for a 600. I was impressed with it. it's NOT the really nice one w/ undertail exhaust. and NOT a 636.
I've had plenty of bikes. so im far from a newbie. he's just selling them but i'm not looking to buy. but I think both are decent deals...
let me know your opinions plz.,

zzr600 you mean... thats an ugly bike. i'd save another $1000 and get a newer SS bike...most 03 SS bikes will go for 5k...and in better condition than a dropped zzr

in short.....UGLY

zzr600 is a very good bike. won ama supersport in 2001 or 2002 i think in the hands of eric bostrom. of a bike and to be hoenst if you're even slightly good you can out ride all of these guys recommending you get something even faster or newer. I say zzr600.

yeah ... i would have to agree with Paul on this 100%.... tuck a couple bills away and get something newer and cleaner...

this is what I would do.. especially since your not new.. and it's going to have less "droppage" get a nice street bike...

The F2 is an excellent bike, but that price seems a little high; I wouldn't even worry about the millage on it. It all depends on what you want. I think you should have three bikes. Sport, commute(touring), and cruiser(bar hopper). But if you have to have one SPORT!!!!!

arturo had that for his first bike and was very good...he bought a salvage title and cleaned it up by the end and traded to an '04 636....not a bad bike

the bike isnt ugly.

check it out my ex-slow zx6r that would "supposedly" get ME spanked by a 600rr

new kawi

the zzr600 is a re-released J model series of the zx6r's (599cc). they made a bike that looked like it and that was a 636cc but was sold overseas. The North American zx6r model starting in 2003 up to now is a 636cc model.

supposedly the current (2003-2005) 600RR have a hard time coming up in 1st (wheelie) with power but the zzr600 or zx6r (599cc) wont.

what gear would you be in if you were to race from 20mph? 1st, 2nd, 3rd?
what gear do you think a experinced rider would be in? im just curious since your making an assumption.

for and giggles heres what the zx6r(599cc) or zzr600 can do to a street tire. notice how even the sides are worn down like the center.

A 600RR will not annihilate a new ZZR600 in a straight line. Would be close, and heavily rider dependant. The ZZR is the same bike that Eric Bostrom won a championship with in '02 and that mill has plenty of power. Sure it's carbed, but once it gets going the power just keeps on coming. Any year 2000+ supersport bike from the big 4 are pretty close to one another in power, weight, handling. The big acceleration and performance gains in the past few years are being made in the 1000cc class with the reductions in weight coupled with much increased power.
