Yessir you are invited. Just be sure to get to the meet spot by 8:45 for rider meeting. It is very informative. When we get there in the morning we might split it up in Richardson (at the shell after ther forest before 3090) It is a decision I will have to make on the fly.

The physical address I don't know off hand, but here are some directions.

Coming from downtown (I assume):

I-45 N
Exit 242 (it is just after The Woodlands exits)
Stay on the 45 feeder and go through one (1) light
Directly after the light is a driveway to a Shell Station/McDonnald's on the right

There will be about 15 bikes waiting for you!!

It will be nice to have you along.

OK on the gear... Yes you must have a jacket. Sorry it is just the bare minimun in my opinion. Last week we had 1 rider without a jacket, and of course he was the one who went down. Thankfully someone had lent him a jacket, but I GUARANTEE he was happy he had that jacket when he ended up in the ditch

Rider ability really should not be a problem on this ride IF you just take it easy and realize YOU WILL NOT BE LEFT BEHIND. We stop at all major intersections, and have a designated sweeper for rider safety. I have done this ride a bunch of times, and we will go over all major danger zones at rider meeting, so just be sure to make it by 8:45

We usually make it back to the meet spot by 2 p.m. sometimes earlier. We stop about every 45 minutes for gas and cigarette breaks ( smokers) At the stops we chill and discuss the next section ect... At Yankees there is USUALLY a group that wants to head back immediately (not guaranteed) and if so they should make it back by 1 p.m.

This ride is WAY better than CRR. IMO it is the best twisties in the area and is well worth a trek from the southside. After the ride I will be heading downtown to get my bike wershed by some highschool girls and hopefully not end up on "to catch a predator" (thanks Soulracer)

If anyone thinks they are going to get lost or run late please PM me and I will give them my phone # so we can coordinate.

If you have any concerns please refference the sticky titled "the pace" and more recently Maxgs thread regarding group rides... very informative and almost exactly how I manage these groups.

Thanks!! See y'all in the mornin!!

Just a heads up, I'll probably split off after lunch and head back down 362 instead of going back to the meet spot. I live in the NW so it's easier for me and it's a decent route. Cough, I mean a not so good route.
