The pics are just a bonus... most people don't get to see themselves riding on their bikes. In smaller groups where I sweep I go ahead and take videos around corners...

36 BIKES.... And 20 or so started in the second group I led... Please guys if you wanna pass us, do it; I saw several who came up on the people behind them on every corner lookin like they were being held down. Usually in a corner as I lead I look back in the mirror and watch the riders.... So I know whats going on.

What really helped out the fast group was the fact that you guys did know eachother's experience and the group separation kept you guys in your zone without having to worry about the others.

For those reading, we had rules for this ride for the second group. We had a set speed for the straights and would not go over double recommened speed for each corner based on how the group rode.

Tiatool stated if no one had ridden 3090 they needed to be in the second group. On the way back people found their place and rode it... Very smooth transition for the group with so many new faces. I appreciated some of the fast group staying in the mid pack of group number two to ride lines and help the group spread out even more.

Like I said, I love the group rides when we all laugh, share and enjoy our passion regardless the speed, cornering or price at the tank. And we experienced all that this ride.

Lol...yeah, that was probably Trevor you saw riding my tail when I was right behind you. I credit that to his track experience and none for me . Maybe one day I'll be a able to do a few track days and get some much needed instruction.

Fast group was fun, I just don't see the point in doing triple digits in the straights...only good for getting tickets IMO. That's why I dropped back and back in the group.

yup... hence the reason I go slow on the straights and fast in the turn.. or actually pretty much the same speed all the time. For 99% of that route you can set your cruise on 80-90 and have just as much fun, and have time to enjoy the scenery on the straights.

Plus your brakes last that much longer since you never use them...

With all do respect. We were not at triple digits man. And what happens when statements like that are made, people ASSUME that we are, in fact, pushing 100+ on the straights.

You fell to the back of the "fast" group on the first leg of 3090, where there are NO straights.

Triple digits, on the freeway, possibly.

Made the super safe forest ride. Great ride and turnout, thanks Tia, Matt and all the other organizers/leaders/sweepers. Can't wait to do it again.

Who was doing triple digi's? (Shhhhh!) And anyways I was donig triple digi's in the corners, too Haha just kidding...

Either way I had a great time. Good riding to all the first timers. I saw alot of people in their "comfort zone." Thanks to all the supervisors: Cdill, Onewheel, and of course Cali; pitching double duty as camera man, too.

To whomever STOLE homedude's camera: You are a frigging THIEF, and I hope someone catches you and shoots you per the laws here in TX. That kind of behaviour is unnaceptable on a ride that I organize. If it is someone from this board, you are specifically NOT INVITED to another forest ride I put up. If it is not someone from this board my apologies for above mentioned actions.
