Anyone up for a long ride?

I'm thinking Austin, San Antonio, or Lousiana, something like that. I'll go further if someone has something cool in mind. Ride out, split a hotel, come back. During the week would be best-less LEO's, less traffic, hotels are generally cheaper. I'd be able to leave as early as Wednesday, so if you want to do a ride let me know soon, as I'm ready to go whenever.

XRCajun's taking a ride out to Louisiana, but he's gotta stop by his dad's place first, then he's gonna ride the weekend in that area till he returns on Sunday. He's got a planned route, which includes New Orleans. PM him.

I figured it'll be ok to post, since he posted this on another forum we're a part of:

Then Saturday head up to Baton Rouge following the river then over to New Orleans. I haven't seen New Orleans sense Katrina. I may or may not stay the night in New Orleans that will depend on wether or not I can get a ground floor room to keep my bike in. Then Sunday I'm heading back to Houston.

I can do Monday most likely, all the ideas posted thus far sound excellent, and it'd be awesome to be able to put the hotel money towards food and gas

I woke up today with a 101.xx fever and I feel like I'm dying, so Monday may be the best bet for me as well :/:
