I'll add this. I have a low boy I am taking with 5 wheel chocks. I also have a 4x 8 that can handle a single bike (been to the hill country already once), and access to a 6 x 10 that can handle a pair of bikes.

So, I can hook up to tow 8 bikes if need be, providing someone can tow the extra two trailers. 3 grownups is snug in my extended cab since I have long legs and my seat stays all the way back. Plenty of room in covered bed for stuff. So just an FYI for planning purposes.

I have a receiver in my ranger could most def pull the 4x8 and I am pretty sure the the 6x10 if need be (as long as you aint got a huge busa ). I only have a single cab tho so I can't take more than one passenger. No cover on the bed but trashbags work just as well if we get some rain Plus the 4 banger is pretty good on gas too

Yeah, last time a single cab chevy pulled it, with a bike in the bed and one on the trailer. I have a secure place to park in San Antonio, so I guess we have the option of leaving vehicles there, and riding on to whereever everyone else is staying. We most definately have to hit the cafe in Bandera for breakfast at least once anyhow.

Sounds good. I am gonna try and pull mudbugs 6x11 next weekend so we will see how it works out. From what I am told shouldn't be an issue. Sounds like a plan Jim. Or we could just get handicapped rooms and park the bikes in there

For those of us that have decided to RIDE instead of TRAILERING, is there a pre-determined meet up spot? I'm about an hour and half away from Houston(Bryan,TX) and would like to meet up somewhere along the way. Also, do we have a planned route to take?

Oct 3-5 @ 9am?

Nox is elected official ride leader, and has a route. Once he gets parole from the bald guy he'll set something up. Probably meet somewhere between 1960 and 362 on 290?

Kerrville has plenty of normal (motel 8, holiday inn) stuff and is an easy reach to the Sisters.
