subframe, wheel and exhaust and you're good to go. doesn't look that bad, glad you jumped in time. that's why i always keep my eye on my mirrors when coming to a stop. you never know if that somebody behind you is paying as much attention as you are.

The subframe tabs look broken but that could be easily welded. (I am sure Patrick or Javi will set you up depending on where you live)

so from what I can see.
rear wheel
subframe
muffler
tail plastics?
ex hanger,pegs
fender

You better insist that it is. Its his dime. Tell his insurance it better be cause your hurting, but a new bike would make you feel better.

Considering it's an '01 I'd definately say it's totalled. Good luck getting a new ride bro. Did he have insurance, did the police come out, did he admit to guilt? Hope it works out for ya!

WOW that seems like a lot of damage. Way to be aware of your surroundings to be able to bail from the bike when you saw the cage coming up from your rear. That's got to be scary to see that coming.

I had to check my pants when i got calmed down, there was a guy there that helped me get the scooter out from under the truck but he was all angry and yelling at the driver of the truck but it did help with the claim to have a witness come forward and actually give some info

ok. then just f it. tell the dude to pay for it. and get a new ride. i agree with other when they say it looks gone.

I asked cause I know people (like me) get attached to bikes and would rather stupidly fix instead of totalling them out
