My morning was a little shaky, trying to consume it all. The afternoon I loosened up quite a bit, Andy was my instructor, he helped me out a lot and was awesome. The guy that filmed us at the school was also just super nice and helpful!

I can't say enough about how nice, helpful, and non intimidating to a newbie everyone was.

Thanks!
Awesome! Andy is a great fellow too- and fast! He ran some really respectable races in AMA Formula Extreme this year, and he's a team member on LSTD Racing (our SSB endurance racing team).

I think it was a blk/org 600. Whether it was you or your buddy or whoever, I wasn't trying to talk down on anyone. That's not my style, and I myself am slow and have lots to learn. It was just an observation and wasn't intended to be anything more.

I'm not too sure on the pace as this was my first time at TWS (Texas World Speedway) and first time with LSTD. I think different orgs. run different paces b/t the int. and adv. groups. Yes, someone is always gonna be the slowest of the group and when I pass, I pass with consideration. . . as you can see in the video

He was cool, gave me some simple pointers about my toes vs heals on the pegs and other stuff. He had said that he raced his Triumph at Daytona this year, pretty cool.

I was telling peeps around here that there are very few things that you walk away from that change you, this was one of them. I am wondering what I can sell on ebay to pay for my full system, when can I take off work for the next track day, it is like crack....

Was probably me although I think there was another bike exactly like mine in the B group. I'm pretty sure he was faster though. I don't think suzuki makes a black/orange 600. I know you weren't trying to talk down, I was just trying to figure out if I was in the wrong group or not

Well, I have 4 kids so it gets real hard to eat right. I know I should but yea... you know how it goes. Plus we have a tendency to eat late and I know that doesn't help much either.

I'm single and childless, and I STILL find it hard to eat right. Doesn't help that Houston has great restaurants everywhere.
