In the afternoon, I followed you for some laps, and that ZX is wicked fast in the straights!

I observed nothing of real importance to comment on, and nothing really in the video that was too bad at all for someone of your experience. I'd say you were right on track and making good progress

Now, a faster way around the track- we can work on that, here's some observations:

You could brake a lot later and less- you were early apexing almost every time in turn three, you can also carry a lot more speed in three, four, six, especially seven, and the "kink" before the chicane (I call that a mid-corner adjustment, because it really doesn't warrant rolling off the throttle at all, it's a deceiving looking corner with the pavement on camber then flat). Each of those corners you broke too much and too early to get through there really fast, it seemed like it ruined your rythym, and you tried to fix that by shot-gunning out and on the straights.

Your body position was decent, you could put your "chin over fist" a bit more, but that will come with time. Try not to fidget or adjust yourself on the seat either- when you commit to the corner, you should be set.

As I observed, you did quite well, and the things I mentioned will come pretty naturally as you get more seat time. Instruction doesn't hurt either!

Good vid btw...

haha, I didn't know that was you. That lil red is quick
And honestly... I enjoy every single minute out there, even those minutes when I am sadly picking up pieces of bikes and trying to talk injured riders into letting' the medic's check 'em out. Just doing my part to keep all of you as safe as I possibly can

yep it had been almost 10 years since i have ridden a 250 GP bike. the gentleman named Arman from Monterey, Mexico was kind enough to let me take it for a few laps before they headed out on their 13 hr drive home. man i miss those little thangs. nothin corners like a little 2-stroke GP bike ! the only thang i dont miss is how cramped your knees get after riddin them :/:
