it depends on the riders previous motorcycle experience and mindset of operating a vehicle, and coordination. Need more background info first before a solid recommendation can be made. alot can be said about the riders age as well, just for maturity reasons

None at the moment..... :-(

Aside from all the jokes, gettin a new motorcycle is like going out on a first date....

Your nervous and dont know if this girls fast or slow.....

Depends on what you feel comfortable with. How many bikes have you ridden in your day? How old are you? Have you taken an approved MSF course? :dontknow:

These are just some of the things to consider when looking at gettin your first bike......

then you have done no research on bikes, which shows compulsive buying, typically of less mature people... you do not know bikes or what they are capable of due to lack of research... so i would recommend a 250

Alot of people were telling me to get a 750 when I was looking to buy it, but I decided that, that was enough for me at the time.....

Love the irony of your avatar vs screenname....I would point you in the direction of a Ninja 250 ....it's a Kawi and it's friendly to noobs and vets alike

if you have zero experience on motorcycles than either the R1 or gix 1000 is far too much and we'll be reading about another biker down accident. please do us all a favor and get something smaller if this is your first actual bike. Plus, depending on your age, a liter bike will cost megabucks to insure and you do want that full coverage on the bike no matter what kind you get.
