The lap times don't appear for the April 19 & 20th event at MSR Houston. Was that event rained out or something?

Based on the laptimes in Feb, did you guys get rain off and on?

Yep.. I am rolling stock, but "tuned" suspension on my 07 R6 ...I hit a low :42 during April's CCS race. I normally run :43-:45 on regular days.

Alonzo is also running stock on his 07 GSXR600 and has hit several :43's at MSRH. I think he was on corsa III street tires also

I tried, but the laptimer I was borrowing would just shut off when I passed by the beacon. Maybe I was going so fast it couldn't keep up.........or not. :/: I wasn't really going for all out speed anyway. Just trying to work on myself and getting my lines down around that place for once instead of just chasing lap times.

I think that the top 3 novices will dip into the :39s. I WILL NOT be one of them.

So with the theme of this, what do the expert guys run typically? 39's or into the mid or low 30's?

I really don't have a good grasp on where things fall out between the CMRA racers.

There is always a spread in avg laptimes amongst riders, whether novice or expert. The front experts will be in the mid to high 30. Ty Howard will probably run some more mid 30's or just under.

I think the front of the Novice should run from 1:40 - 1:44s.
The Mid pack should be from 1:44-1:48s.
Then like Tom said you'll see people all the way upto 2:05s running in the back.

Experts, since it'll be CMRA Ty & Larry will have serious competition. I'm guessing the front runners will get and stay under 1:36s and Ty or Dane will probably break the record again.

Again just guessing... I don't have half the time on that track as most of the people posting in this thread.

Question for those people - What gearing and track are the minis being run on?
