Strength does not come from winning. Your struggles develop your strengths. When you go through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength-

Not sure, I never really set it up for top speed. Top speed is very "gearing dependent"...... But to answer your question, if I re-geared it for top speed and was not worrying about the distance I had to get it, I am sure it would break 230+ at 300hp. But in reality, we mainly do 1 mile racing and most of the sanctioned Speed Organizations go by standing 1 mile tracks(Texas Mile in Goliad, Maxton Mile in SC.) In a 1 Mile race, with the correct gearing for 1 mile, 300hp would get me about 210-215mph......MAYBE 218mph if everything went right.

BUT that was my old setup on race gas......My NEW setup, it will be making 300-320hp ON PUMP GAS and around 400-430hp on C16.

In a perfect world, 400hp is enough for 250-260+ if you had 2 miles to get it.

My buddy's bike went 237mph at the Texas Mile with around 450hp and that was within 1 mile...

No probably not...I am supposed to be going on a Poker Run on a buddy's boat saturday. Besides that, I still don't have dog bones on the 1000 yet so its pointless if its not lowered....LOL I think it went 6.90s last time with a 2.0 60' and a 4.85 330'....

not hating but from what i've learn from turbo bike ...i think it will blow a hole before it gets to the 2 mile marker...

i'm putting mine all back stock with a new used motor ...then selling all my turbo goodies and my turbo motor...the last rebuild was by a turbo shop and it was tune back for safe...and it still came apart..:cryi ng:
Yeah they are definetly likely to melt on top end runs.....even in just a 1 mile run but....... This time around, I have an AIR to AIR intercooler, secondary fuel injectors and I will be pulling timing out. Not to mention the compression will be about a half a point lower and using real turbo pistons that have been prepped for anti-detonation. I will be using straight C16 for top end runs, even on low boost(13-14lbs, 300-320hp)....

But no matter how much money you spend on em....they are still ticking time bombs it seems.....

If you're looking for quality turbo tuning and money isn't important, take your bike up to New York and look up "turbo people." Do it right and it will be reliable. I've seen their work on many cars - top notch. From what I understand they handle busas as well, although it isn't advertised. (914)478-1727
