I think Azylums new plastics were Hong Kong from ebay ... looks like it worked out pretty nice for him!

I heard it takes a long time for them to ship sometimes, like over a month. But otherwise from what I've seen on a couple forums, you may need to hit them with the dremel for 20 or 30 min to get everything to fit perfect.

if you take a look at the plastic, it is half as thick as oem and very flemsy. it doesnt come with a clear coat so it scratches very easily. and the fitment sucks. thats my experience with it

I just helped one of the guys here at work put some on his 636. Nothing fits good - lots of tabs missing (not broken - just not there at all). As Romeo 36 said very thin. It probably takes 4x the labor to install that it would take you with factory plastics - and you will need a ton of misc hardware to "whittlefit" it all together.

Another guy here at work bought a set for a ZX10R several months ago - same experience with the install and his came painted flat black (I think it was meant to be a primer) it is all peeling off now and looks like . I would not recommend the stuff.

But quick response on questions.

I have some experience with them. The plastic from MOST of the companies are very thin. Thin enough, if you accidentally bumped the bike with your knee it could crack it. Also the tabs for fitting are very flimsy, so if you tighten too far/hard, it could break off the connector. The paint and finish are good, but will wear out over time. The price is right, though.

Azylum's seems to have the best time with them. In my experience he is the exception, not the norm.

Also, if you do get them, buy a dremmel for the custom fit.

Mine came in pretty fast from ezoom racing. Seemed a little thinner overall but you can't beat the price and consistency, as opposed to spending maybe double on a new set or each individual piece. Keep in mind it's all metric in Hong Kong.

I bought my plastics from hong kong also and only had a couple issues. The paint looked good and had plenty of clear coat. As far as the mounting tabs go, they are not the best in the world. I had a few break off but no big deal it was easy to fix with the right glue (E-6000 Industrial Strength Adhesive). The thickness of the plastics were not an issue either, the plastic on mine is a little thicker than OEM. It did take a little longer to install than most but if your good with a dremel tool it shouldn't be a problem. Overall I'm happy with mine and had several comments on it. I can't really complain being I only piad $800 for a set of painted plastics ship to my front door in less than a month.

we installed a set on an r1, very bad fitment, even after 4 hours of dremeling the undertail still wouldn't fit right. not bad for the price though.
