Uwanna race an SV?? I've get a 2mm overbored, fire breathing, AK20 havin, U4.2 drinkin, 85 + hp beast that I'll sell you today!! But like Keith said the bang for your buck is with the ninja 250. I rode one at OHR for the first time to help out for the 8hr and had a blast. Way more fun than fighting the SV!! Don't let your big bike ego take over. Try the 250 and then think about the SV endurance. I'm thinkin I'll do the Ninja next year myself.....especailly after watching Dustin ride the $hit out of it at the OHR 8hr.

well now i ride an 07 gsxr600 track only.
i rode an Sv650 before.
its not an ego thing, more like investment issue now.
doesnt the new 250 have an "updated" suspension.
anyways my last SV650 i bought was a race ready bike and i bought it for $3900.
is that more less what they are going for now days?
once i discuss it with the rest of the guys ill be ready to move on one shortly after......
