Lightbulb Best brands of gear

Now i'm not talking about helmets but Im more really into boots jackets and gloves. as far as the track and protection what would you consider your top 3 brands that would keep you safe?

My friend keeps saying that Icon stuff is great and I keep telling him it's garbage that you are paying for the look not the gear.

what would you wear on the track if money was not an option.

I wear a dainese 1 pc. kirishsima (sp?)suit. it flows a retarded amount of air though it and is super comfy.

sidi boots FTW!

I still wear the OLD timax gloves from icon. but they don't make them like they used too and when/if they wear out I will be heart broken.

I have an A*s suit and it works nice (only ridden twice with it). I would recommend A*, Komodo, Syed (since you're balla status).

Astars, Dainese or Syed.. all excellent choices. I wear Fieldsheer and feel safe but they are at best a middle of the road suit.

sidi for boots is very popular but look into the Puma 1000's, theyre getting rave reviews since recently dropping. A tad pinch more expensive then sidi but looks AND protection in one package is good . Held makes decent gloves as well from what I hear

AlpineStar, I crashed several time at TWS (Texas World Speedway) and my Alpinestar suit held up well and so did the gloves.

I'm going to purchase an Alpinestars Suit (debating on 1 piece or 2 piece), gloves, and SIDI boots.

Interested in the MX-1 suit.
