tips.... get aftermarket pipes. they sound awesome on that bike
get a damper for it
put a rear shim to raise the rear ride height. makes it handle better, but make sure you get the damper first
lastly, stay away from chics in buicks....they like to run oven superhawks.

I've heard nothing but great things about the vtr's. Almost bought one a couple weeks ago, but went with a gsxr instead as a second bike.

that was some hater post, i was the first to see the bike (the dude was rich) just had too many toys

ppl post all sorts of hate on CL, so ya it was a bs post

ya, the bike needs pipes bad - and ya the steering is too light on the freeway - a damper is needed badly but in a total diff way then my 10r needed a damper

the guy had bought a new busa the 08, and was selling some of his older toys so imo it was a good buy - plus it rides perfect and its a vtwin so im happy

plus when im bored, haha how much do u think im gonna sell it for :p

i think the longest i ever had a bike was my gsxr 750, ever other bike lasted me about a year before i just sold it and got another

what happened to the superchicken forums, the site died

really need a used set of pipes for the bike (could care less wut brand just loud)

damper wise, this bike is just a toy so i can hear a vtwin - if i can get one for cheap great if not meh im not doin any serious riding on it

Those 50 mil carbs LOVE to suck gas......LOL...If you get 25mpgs, you will be doing good.
Get a steering damper on that sucker if it doesn't have one..

Fun bikes...
