We've visited this track, but I haven't ridden it yet. From my observations and the feedback I've gotten, it's a fun track to ride, but still needs some work for some things.

It looks like a point-n-shoot layout with crazy elevation changes! Lots of straights with tight turns (kindof like "Spaz" illustrated).

The pavement is still curing, and is typically a bit slick until temps reach around 90*. Once that happens, it's got good traction and tire wear is very good too (like Cresson's new 1.3 track section).

Facilities are sparse, and there are no electrical hookups or water. There is a club house though, and I hear it has nice showers too (I didn't look).

Tracks like this, and Cresson's new section, are somewhat intimidating to new riders, but towards the end of the day, the fun factor should be very high as confidence and familiarity builds

We'll be there on September 26th for the CMRA pre-race weekend. It's a great time to see how the fast guys are going to negotiate (or not) this new venue

well my opinion is kindda based on facts.
i've only attended a hand full of track days, about 12 in the last year, and i gotta say that in the one day event i attended i saw more run-offs than i saw in all the other events put together.turn 7 is a blind, way off camber turn that ate up at least 4 bikes on one day.IMHO i dont see any ressemblance<sp> in it to the 1.3 at cresson.i mean cresson is all technical with 2 fast sweepers,i think, and ECR has got some long strights.ECR is the kinda track that will aggrevate you if get stuck behind a bigger bike with a guy that guns it on the straights(6) and parks it on every turn.bad recipe for entry levels.i plan to attend the 2 Ride Smart events back to back with some one on one instruction so that maybe i can figure it out.when i was there in April i had intention of coming back.......with that being said,i'm with Tom,tracks are like people-- they have their own personalities and you either love them or hate them, but they are always worth meeting everytime

Maybe I'll make it out there before Sept, but I do wanna hit it up this season...despite the negative things I've read/heard

People said the same about GSS, but I like it.

I realized after my first few trackdays that even your worst day at/on a particular track is still a good day. It's like winning the the lotto, but the pot only being 5 million vs. someone else who won 100 million. Sure you'd rather a huge successful win, but even a small win is a good one...sorry if that analogy sucked...

All the racers are saying it is a sketchy track. Back straight is so bumpy you can't stay on the gas with out risk of being thrown off. All corners are second gear as well. Run off is a joke and the hay bale separation of the paddock is questionable at best. They have paved it three times now and it is still bumpy.

That's exactly what the man with the 2 Ducks said at msrh a few weeks ago.

Here is my take on the track. Overall the track is very nice. It is very smooth in most areas, but is very bumpy on the back straight between turns 6 and 7 but definitely not the worst I have ridden on. I personally think the track has a very good flow, but it is technical and if you get off line you will blow two or three corners. There are a lot of blind corners so you have to aim for and hit correct marks. The elevation changes are what make this a very good track. My favorite section is the turn 9 and 10 area. It has a great down hill section that then comes up a very steep hill. One thing that needs to be worked on soon is the run off. While I think there is plenty of run off in most areas, it needs to be groomed and the rocks removed. I know there has been a lot of talk about the run off in turn 11 but even there I believe there is enough but then again I love racing at a little place called Firebird Main in Phoenix AZ.
