Eagles Canyon Opinions?

Post up your thoughts and opinions on Eagles Canyon. I am considering trying to make the TTD event on the 5th-6th if possible.

I think I remember someone saying it was a new track and without curbing yet? Is that the case?

Then, I am also curious if anyone has extra trailer space and wants to split gas costs. If so send me a PM to discuss the day(s) you plan to ride and travel.

It is prolly is my favorite track to date so far. a lot of straights, turns, big elevation changes. you will def love it. Takes a lil for the track to warm up but once it does its a super fun track. i rode it back in April i believe

I've heard it's not a very fun track. Just what I've heard.

It's a beautiful track. Remember folks, no two tracks are alike. If you have not experience this track, come out and make your own opinion.

I loved the track! It was a little slick in the morning but by the afternoon it was much better! We were there back in April and it was very windy and chilly so that made the track conditions a little extra slick as well! It is a moderately technical track has some nice straights and some awesome elevation changes! There is curbing but not much run off area! All in all it was a very fun track for me and I look forward to riding there again!

Hope this helps!

The runoff complaints is what I heard also. I recall someone saying that ECR was supposed to have gravel traps and the like...it has boulder traps. From the diagram it looks very much like...heavy braking...turn...gas...gas...gas...heavy braking...turn...etc...never been there though.

I went to eagles canyon...but didnt ride! glad you asked that question...i wondered the same thing....

how "technical" and "fast" of a track is it tho?
i heard it was a faster track but a step down speed wise from TWS (Texas World Speedway)... but from what i saw, it looked so technical?!?! anymore opinions?!

Turn 5 is the bomb! It is an uphill turn and you can get on the gas good and go charging down that back straight! To me it was the awesome! I like turns 1 and 2 as well! I didn't like 7 and 8! Never did get a good line going through those! And the one at the bottom of the hill was fun! I think that is 9! It was fun making the transition to the uphill turn 10!

I'll be there on the 5th, with 3 buddies. Can't wait to check it out.

Any of you MHer's stop by the pit and say hey. We will be the old guys with 2 gsxr750s(one silver and one grey), a stock looking gsxr 1000, and a red CBR600.
