Anyone up for a paintball meet?

http://www.urban-warzone.com

I havent gotten to play in a while and have been wanting to check this place out bad .... so I figured maybe this would be a cool way to meet some people

DATE: looking to do this either Saturday the 28th,
or I would be open minded to a large group reserving a week day (in the week following that).... depending on how late they are willing to stay open on the weekday (I know I read something on their site about night games somewhere and that would be sweet)

anyway, looks like prices are pretty reasonable and a large group will make it really cheap, so who is down?

ps. anyone who doesnt like the feeling of getting hit - the rental fee includes a protective vest, and I would be happy to show anyone how to play an intense game without getting lit up.

Why not do a field somewhere outside the city? Those are usually roomier and have multiple fields to choose from.

There is one off Dixie Farm Rd....never been but told it's a good one.Really want to try this. I don't have any equipment tho and have been told unless you spend lots of $ on good stuff then it's a waste of time/money...this true?

The rentals are enough to have fun.

not true at all, a mark of a good field is their ability to offer decent equipment at a resonable price .... lots of fields starting off try to get all the "best" stuff and price it up way too high, most fields will last 6 - 18 months

If you spend $100, then something is probably very wrong

#1 paintball is like $30-40 with rentals and 500 rounds of paint.

Damit I would love to go but I will be out of town. I want this to be my new hobby. I plan on buying my gear soon plus guns. Where is the best place to get the best ones for a good price? Hopefully in Houston somewhere.

uh hum lol, what you work there?

like I said, Ive been there before, prices are pretty much the same, I was just trying to avoid fooling anyone into thinking it wasnt possible to spend some money .... you REALLY that worried about the money, I will buy the first case of paint and if we get more than 12 people going I will buy the first TWO cases of paint

so that would be playing 11 hours for $15

nah, but I did a MH paintball meet about 2 months ago and for $30 per person we got 2 hours of private time on the fields, rentals, and paint....anything left after the 2 hours we played with the "public".
