got pulled over today

I got pulled over, and my bike looks like cause it's a stunt bike slapped back together for street due to fuel prices...anyways i'm legit, horn, lights, plate, inspection, license plate lights, etc...(thanks to clayton)

anyways the cops didn't give me a reason of why they pulled me over but they left when they couldn't find a reason to ticket me..they even checked my tires with a penny.

anyways i think it's funny that they wasted 30 minutes of my time just to TRY to find something wrong with my bike cause it LOOKS like garbage. Anyways has anyone else had this happen to them?

happens to me all the time, ive had a cop cut in behinde me when i had a ground of friend(all on bikes) in formation following me and sat behinde me for about 10 min running everything and trying to see something illegal..... im 100%legal.. its annoying but think of it this way, glad they look out cause if someone stole your bike and was ridding it u know it atracts attention so itle be easyer to ketch!

I have been stopped numerous times had all my stuff checked, always get the stoopidist question " do you know why I pulled you over" and I always say no I don't then they procede to try and tell me that my plate isn't visible from 50 ft but ya know they never ticket me because of it so I went to the DPS license office in Tx City, some major was there( I am told this is very unusual that a major would be there) so he looks at it and say it looks ok to him, so in other words they are trying to see if I'll run, I've had 2 police officers tell me that the reason my plate is where it is , is so that I can run and its difficult for the cop chasin me to see it. its bullsh*t harassment if ya ask me, and my favorite police are Kemah! they just love to stop and ask me really stoopid question

Once again a good reason to make sure your is legit!
Kudos to you!

I can't tell you how many times I've been pulled over and been let off with a warning because all of my stuff was right, yet others in the group with me wound up getting tickets because theirs wasn't.:/:

Sorry to hear you got pulled over for no reason, altough it probably makes up for all the times you WERE doing something and didn't!

Insert a penny into the tire upside down, the head of Abe needs to at least touch the tread, if it doesn't your tires are too worn.
I'm unsure of the legality of it and whether it would actually hold up in court but I've had it happen to me, mostly when I used to have fast street cars.

I have a ticket for driving on the street with slicks, he tried to give me an exhibition of acceleration ticket(which is pealing out) and I argued with him and showed him the slicks. hahaha A faulty equipment is much cheaper than a E.A ticket
