Anyone get nailed in the monsoon just now? (I did)

Left work early to beat the rain and the timing was ALL WRONG

Got anhiliated on Richmond between Shepard and Rice when the motherload came down. Trying to ride through it, wind tearing down the streets and about 10 foot visibility. Wind was so bad I was glad some SUV's were rolling along, I used them for cover especially crossing intersections where it was worst. The Kat was bucking the wind fierce and I had a couple moments where I was sure I was going over. I would have pulled over, but I kept telling myself I was only a block or two away, might as well go a little further and the rain just kept getting worse and worse.

Never been in a storm that bad and I definately caught the worst of it I poured water out of my boots when I came in the house, even my tidy whities were soaked. Oddly enough, my Arai kept my hair dry lol

Anyone else?

Nice breeze helped the Rain-X out! Blew the water right off the visor.

I got caught in that here on the north side. Even started hailing a little. Plus It was a great time for me to find out the teeth on my rear spocket were breaking off.

passed by me! A drizzle or light/medium rain, no probelm. I won't even ride with rain gear. A torrential downpour on the other hand? Its not you the rider, i'm worried about those cars not seeing me and deciding i'd be a good hood ornament!

heh, i always get flashbacks from the olden days

i started riding back in college station when i was at a&m
and i rode everyday wether it was 20 outside 120 outside or just flat out flooding

when your sitting at a stop light and you're completely soaked and the cagers pull up next to you givin u a funny look just smile and wave

the worst was waking up , looking outside and its pouring rain and u just get out there, warm up the bike and ride neways

it was either that or wait 30mins for the bus and walk everywhere to class

but ya now im a wuss, i've prolly only ridden in the rain like 3x all year long
