from my understanding balance was a major problem, so go get practiced ALOT on a bicycle, then get a small dirt bike........

If you like riding you should get something really small and practice everyday. Wear all your gear and be ready to eat some. I think your already lightyears ahead of some just in your thought process of taking the class, and coming on here for advice.

If RacerX says go work some balance on a bicycle its prolly a good idea. A little 150cc dirtbike would be more fun IMHO. And everyone knows you just look like a badass crashing a dirtbike, thats what the X-Games is right.

If you really wanna learn, dont quit. If you have any doubts, or if the thought of crashing scares you to your core. . . Dont ride. Crashing and close calls is part of this sport. Thankfully, so is learning.
