Question pros & cons of H.I.D

A couple friends of mine got it done recently, just wondering if it worth it.
googled it found alot of suppliers. If yu have it installed where'd you get it & how much? Are you happy with the results? would you change anything?

if you go way too blue....youre actually diminishing useable light at night.

you ideally want bright white to get much better night driving light, the bluer the worse it is....otherwise its pretty much a waste and you can just buy $20 bulbs from vato zone

I've had HIDs on my bike for about a year now with no problems. I had the Sylvania bulbs in before and it was still a tremendous difference. I went with the 6000k and they look very white with some blue in it. I installed it myself, heatshrinked all the wires, never had them go out, no flickering, nothing. I think its one of the best things I've done to the bike, makes riding at night alot more comfortable.

man knows his Hids. yah dont go anything higher than 6K unless all ur after is poser points. 5K has the most light output. go 3.5K (yellow) if you want to go JDM style...

FYI: i have some JDM ebay 5K sets in my car. i've had them for almost 2 years now without a problem. if you installed them right and wired securely, you should never have to worry about them again for the next 3+ years. dont listen to these foo talking "u get what u pay for"....

I have 6K's on mine. The only thing I would do different is to not put a HID on the high beam side. I takes a while to warm up and usually when you want the brights, you want them now!
