Holy brake prices shock

I have been looking for rotors online for my bike, and I was floored by the prices. I don't remember ever paying more than 50.00 bucks for a set of rotors when did they get so high?

The ones i am seeing are 225-300 a rotor. Thats 600.00 dollars for rotors for my bike, thats more than the bikes worth lol.

I guess it's just pads and fluid for now :(

There has to be a cheaper replacement option are people just trading their bikes in when their rotors get worn??

great option, but they still wear out that way as well, and I bought it in this condition.

Patrick can get you some great prices on EBC rotors. Yeah, they'll be a lot more than $50, but better than the prices you're seeing as above.

I suggest sticking with stock rotors (unless they are warped) getting upgraded brake pads and ss brake lines.

You aren't kidding, I needed a set for the F4 and I was floored by the prices I was finding. Even used ones from Sams and Cycle Savage were $$$$$. Just look around on other forums (maybe bike specific forums) and you may luck out, I found mine on cbrforums for $110 shipped for the pair.
